"THE FUTURE BITES" is the sixth solo album by Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree, no-man). This album is the follow-up to "To The Bone" (2017). While "To The Bone" from 2017 criticized global issues and fake news, the thinking behind "THE FUTURE BITES" focuses on the addictions of the 21st century. Consumer society and the impact of technology on consumers' daily lives are denounced. "THE FUTURE BITES" was recorded in London and co-produced by David Kosten (Bat For Lashes, Everything Everything) and Steven Wilson himself. The album is Steven's strongest work to date. It features plenty of experimentation with electronic music (KING GHOST), acoustic instruments (12 THINGS I FORGOT), groovy basslines (FOLLOWER), and funk (EMINENT SLEAZE).
