DMX debuted in 1998 with 'It's Dark And Hell Is Hot', a track that allowed him to blend light and heavy subject matter behind his intensely present voice. The albums that followed were all equally successful, making him the first rapper to have five albums that instantly reached the top of the American album charts. All of these albums contained prayers, quiet prayers, confessions, thanksgivings, and meditations on life, death, and everything beyond. On this compilation album, 'Let Us Pray: Chapter X', all of these prayers can be found; it also features performances by Snoop Dogg, Killer Mike, and Terrace Martin, among others.
