Tourist LeMC's fifth album is called 'Alles Onder Controle' (Everything Under Control) and will be released on March 14, 2025. "For this album, we consciously decided to start over—with a clean slate, so to speak. Whether it's due to personal circumstances or the passing years... I've noticed I've become a bit more cynical. The hopeful element that often used to shine through in my music is much less present this time around. Where I used to see myself as a positive realist, I now feel my fatalistic side bubbling up more in the songs on this album." Yet I notice that humor has subconsciously crept into the lyrics. It feels almost inevitable. You have to balance the dark, fatalistic perspective somehow. If not through optimism, then perhaps through humor and irony. It's that balance that forms the album's central theme.
