Description

In augustus 1960 speelde Oscar Peterson samen met bassist Ray Brown en drummer Ed Thigpen twee weken lang in Baker’s Keyboard Lounge in Detroit. Het trio speelde op dat moment al jaren samen, maar bereikte op de avonden in deze iconische jazzclub nieuwe artistieke hoogtes. Het album is een live-opname die op een enkele vrijdagavond gemaakt is en nooit eerder is uitgebracht. Het is een bewijs van de grote artiest die Peterson was.
