The Chronic is Dr. Dre's first studio album. The album includes the singles "Nuthin' But a "G" Gang" and "Fuck Wit Dre Day (And Everybody's Celebratin'). This is the 30th anniversary 2-LP edition of Dr. Dre's solo debut, "The Chronic."

The rapper, producer, and label boss debuted with this album in December 1992, after having previously left the group NWA and founded his own label, Death Row. The album, with its signature G-funk sound, was considered groundbreaking in the genre at the time. It also yielded the timeless hip-hop classic and global hit "Nuthin' but a G-Thang," on which he introduced his new protégé Snoop Doggy Dogg. For many, the album was also their first introduction to Warren G, Nate Dogg, and Kurupt, all of whom became highly successful in the years that followed under Dr. Dre's watchful eye.
