Description
The soundtrack for the legendary film version of The Sound of Music. The film, with music written and composed by Rodgers & Hammerstein, has won no fewer than five Oscars (including Best Picture). Even for its time, the film broke a record by running in theaters for a remarkable four and a half years. All in all, it is one of the most successful movie musicals of all time. The soundtrack includes popular favorites such as Edelweiss, My Favorite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Sixteen Going On Seventeen, and of course, the title track. This reissue is on 180-gram vinyl.
