Description
In the summer of 1964, Wayne Shorter joined the Miles Davis Quintet and recorded his second Blue Note album, JuJu. The saxophonist collaborated with three musicians who had strong ties to John Coltrane: pianist McCoy Tyner, bassist Reggie Workman, and drummer Elvin Jones. Shorter's sublime compositions, played by this quartet, sound seemingly effortless.

Wayne Shorter heeft vele fantastische albums op zijn naam ook als sidemen bij vele andere groten.
Eindelijk is deze in de Blue note classics reeks verschenen. Prachtige persing en mastering ( Kevin Gray).
Absoluut een parel!
