After a period of hiatus, the rapper/singer/songwriter releases his eighth studio album, "Tempo Giusto." Diggy Dex is the stage name of 44-year-old rapper/singer/songwriter Koen Jansen. He takes you on his musical journey through his equally narrative and accessible songs. With hits like "Treur Niet (Ode Aan Het Leven), De Zon Op (The Sun Up), Slaap Lekker (Sleep Well), and La Vie Est Belle," he has been constantly on the road with his energetic live band in recent years.

After taking a long break last year, the artist is reborn and ready to share his new album with the world. He says: "I've had the title track from the album Tempo Giusto, which translates from Italian as 'the right tempo,' lying around for a while. It's about going my own pace in my musical career over the past fifteen years." The album features collaborations with Typhoon, Inge van Calkar, and Skiggy Rapz. Musically, Diggy stays true to his hip-hop heritage, but plenty of other musical influences can be heard on Tempo Giusto.

The 15 tracks on the album range from pop to reggae and from bolero to chanson. Along with his energetic live band, Tempo Giusto is ready to perform live during the album tour, which kicks off April 25th.
