The follow-up to Exodus, like its predecessor, was recorded in London. The refreshing "Kaya" (1978) showcases a relaxed Bob, much more preoccupied with melody, love, and ganja than with pressing global issues. In his own words, he recorded "Kaya" "...to cool off the pace." "Kaya" was released just before the legendary One Love Peace Concert on April 22, 1978, which marked Marley's return to Jamaica and brought together the leaders of the two rival political parties in the violence-torn Jamaica on stage. This version is pressed on 180-gram black vinyl and includes a voucher for a digital download of the album.
