Description
"Today" is Mississippi John Hurt's third album, originally released in 1966. The album features a selection of his first commercial recordings since his comeback after a 35-year hiatus. Rolling Stone described the album as: “the rare Delta blues legend who bowls you over with grace, generosity, and warmth.” "Today" is part of the Bluesville Records and Acoustic Sounds reissue series. This release is pressed on 180-gram vinyl with all the analog mastering of the original tapes, comes with an obi strip with sleeve notes, and is packaged in a tip-on jacket-style slipcase.
