THE FUTURE BITES is the sixth solo album by Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree, no-man). This album is the follow-up to To The Bone (2017). While 2017's To The Bone criticized global issues and fake news, the premise behind THE FUTURE BITES centers on 21st-century addictions. It denounces consumer society and the impact of technology on consumers' daily lives. THE FUTURE BITES was recorded in London and co-produced by David Kosten (Bat For Lashes, Everything Everything) and Steven Wilson himself. The album is Steven's strongest work to date. It features plenty of experimentation with electronic music (KING GHOST), acoustic instruments (12 THINGS I FORGOT), groovy basslines (FOLLOWER), and funk (EMINENT SLEAZE).
