Following the success of her debut album, "Als Ik Met De Wind Kon Dansen," Bente will release her second album this fall. "Drift" is inspired by a nostalgic longing for childhood and touches on themes such as love for the people around her, the fear of loss, and the uncertainty of how others see her.
"For me, the album represents energy and longing, and revolves around nostalgia for my carefree childhood, a time when everything seemed possible. I miss that terribly. For me, this album is an immortalization of emotions, a snapshot that I can hopefully listen to many years from now and think: that made me happy, that made me sad, that was when I was in love, angry, or happy. With this album, I want to remind myself that it's okay to go with the flow."
