Description
For Lise Davidsen, one of the world's most sought-after opera singers, music is central to the holidays. "Christmas is how I first encountered music; we listened to all kinds of music at home: choral music, popular music, and Norwegian songs." On this album, she brings the warm glow of the Scandinavian Christmas to life. "For Scandinavians, Christmas is the white light we need in the middle of a long winter." "Not just a voice. The voice." - The New York Times
