Madison Cunningham's third album, Ace, is about love, every aspect of it: losing it, getting your heart broken, and then falling in love again. On the album, which Cunningham co-produced with Robbie Lackritz, the acclaimed guitarist foregrounds the piano, resulting in intimate songs that are as playful as they are contemplative. It was created as a collaboration with Fleet Foxes, among others, but also with her band, which plays a significant role in bringing Cunningham's vision to life.
