Dexter Gordon's 1963 album "Our Man In Paris" was his first release from Europe and is also considered symbolically the last bebop album. The saxophonist assembled a quartet of bebop legends and fellow expats, including Bud Powell on piano and Kenny Clarke on drums, along with French bassist Pierre Michelot, to record this all-time classic at CBS Studios in Paris.
