Born in Antwerp on December 29, 1997, Maksim Stojanac quickly became one of Belgium's biggest stars. The son of a Serbian father and a Ukrainian-Russian mother, he proved early on that he was a versatile talent. He danced, sang, acted, and presented. In his younger years, he was even considered a promising footballer, playing for clubs like Beerschot. However, it was the spotlight and the camera that trumped football and the grass pitch.

In recent years, he has had hits with Dutch-language hits like "Vecht Met Je," "Alone With Me," "Zon Mij," and "Onder Invloed" (Under Influence). In 2024, he scored a summer hit with Hannah Mae with "Ik Wil Dat Je Liegt" (I Want You To Lie). In 2022, his debut album, simply titled "Maksim," was released. The singer reached number one on the Belgian album chart with it. This also happened with his follow-up, "Dagdromer," which was released in October 2024. In recent years, Maksim Stojanac has also starred in the TV series "Fliken Maastricht," the film "De Z van Zus," and music programs like "Tulpen Uit Amsterdam" (Tulples From Amsterdam) and "The Masked Singer." He remains as versatile as ever.
