"Tainted" is Ilse DeLange's new album. With hits like "So Incredible," "Miracle," "Puzzle Me," and "The Great Escape," several multi-platinum albums, countless awards (including Edisons, a Golden Harp, a Golden Nutcracker, and the Pop Prize), and her success with The Common Linnets, she is not only one of the most successful artists in the Netherlands but also very successful in Germany. Fractures in all their forms are the central theme of the new album, "Tainted." With every relationship breakdown, whether within a family, at work, or with a loved one, emotions are released: doubt, uncertainty, self-reflection. The title says it all: your view of the world and of people changes, becomes colored. Everyone sees things from a different perspective, has their own truth, and their own healing process. The songs on "Tainted," including the singles "Willing," "Drown Us Out," "Confetti Shotgun," and the new single of the same name, were written in Berlin, Nashville, and Ilse's home. Niels Zuiderhoek co-produced the album with Ilse and Matthijs van Duijvenbode.
