Moving On Skiffle (2LP)

The 77-year-old Van Morrison is now revisiting his love for the genre with the album "Moving On Skiffle ." Of the 23 classics on the record, most are pure covers, but Van Morrison also reworks songs with his own arrangements and lyrics. He launches the album with the single " Streamline Train," written by blues artist Red Nelson in 1936 and popularized by The Vipers Skiffle Group in 1957.

Van Morrison is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Them, which scored a hit in 1964 with the single "Gloria ." In 1967, Van Morrison launched his solo career with the legendary debut single "Brown Eyed Girl." He has since released over 40 albums. In 2016, he was knighted for his services to the music industry.
