Kraantje Pappie is a Dutch actor, television personality, and hip-hop artist born Alex van Zouwen on July 1, 1986, in Rozenburg. His rapping style is unique: direct and compelling. He is signed to the renowned hip-hop label Noah's Ark, where he has released a series of albums and singles. He collaborates with a variety of colleagues and bands, including Doe Maar, Postmen, Jiggy Djé, Jan Smit, Jozo, Diggy Dex, Josylvio, Kris Kross Amsterdam, Maan, Guus Meeuwis, Pommelien Thijs, S10, Ronnie Flex, Snelle, Angela Groothuisen, and Joshua Nolet of Chef'Special.
