Lim's third album for Decca Classics features Tchaikovsky's The Seasons. The booklet contains personal descriptions by Yunchan Lim of each of the twelve pieces, such as this one about the month of January: “Tchaikovsky's The Seasons depicts the last year of a man's life. The first piece, 'By the Hearth,' portrays a fire in a fireplace slowly dying. It begins with a man lost in thoughts about the past, feeling sad for no reason, but then new experiences bring hope. Overwhelming emotions and sobs give way to daydreams, while cigarette smoke curls through the air. Crying, he falls asleep, lost in memories and constantly hesitating on the threshold of the past. But then he returns to the present, accepts everything, and closes the day that will never return.” – Yunchan Lim
“Lim is a sincere musician who, once seated at the piano, becomes one with his instrument and plays the music because he experiences it that way and not otherwise.” – De Nieuwe Muze
