Hawkins' quartet was recorded in 1962, featuring Tommy Flanagan on piano, Major Holley on bass, and Eddie Locke on drums. The album offers an easily digestible selection of repertoire, with up-tempo moments like "Go Li'l Liza" and "Swingin' Scotch" alongside a trio of ballads, including Quincy Jones' "Quintessence."

This Verve By Request title is pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Third Man in Detroit.
