Description

Expanded edition release on black vinyl of 'Snow Borne Sorrow,' the album by David Sylvian with Nine Horses. This is the project with his brother Steve Jansen (Japan/Rain Tree Crow) and German musician/producer Bernd Friedmann, also known as Burnt Friedman.

The album was previously released as a Record Store Day release in 2024 on white vinyl. This first black vinyl edition of 'Snow Borne Sorrow' includes the nine tracks from the original album, two non-album tracks, and the Burnt Friedman Ambient remix of "Atom & Cell."

The artwork was designed by David Sylvian's long-term partner Chris Bigg and the release is packaged in a gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves.

David Sylvian is helaas enorm ondergewaardeerd. Zijn ontwikkeling vanaf Japan tot wat hij is geworden is van een opmerkelijke kwaliteit. Te vergelijken met Scott Walker en Mark Hollis. Voor wie Sylvian nog niet kent ga er eens voor zitten, geef het tijd en sta er voor open. Let the happiness in.
