Description
Since the success of her first hit singles, " Groter Dans Ik" (Bigger Than Me) and "Ik Wil Dansen" (I Want to Dance), she's become an integral part of the Dutch music scene, and her star seems to be constantly rising. Sold-out club tours, packed festivals, and numerous major awards; the pop sensation, still only 23 years old, captivates everyone.
On her new live album, "Live In Brussels," listeners are treated to a recording of her powerful show at the Ancienne Belgique earlier this year. The album will be released on double vinyl and CD a week before her sold-out concert series at AFAS Live on November 20, 21, and 22.
In January, Froukje released her debut album, "Needzakelijk Verdriet ," further cementing her position as one of the Netherlands' most talented alternative pop artists. The album spent several weeks at number one, went gold within three months, and with new, irresistible fan favorites like "Kwijt" ( Lost) and "Als Ik God Was," Froukje toured the country on a sold-out club tour and a jam-packed summer of festivals.
Live In Brussels focuses on songs from Noodzakelijk Verdriet, interspersed with older tracks. With her vulnerable, captivating songs about human grief and social issues, Froukje has captured the hearts of Dutch music lovers in recent years, and on this comprehensive recording, we hear her in top form on stage, with the authenticity and energy we've come to expect from her.
