Finneas
Finneas O'Connell is much more than just the older brother of American pop sensation Billie Eilish. As co-producer and co-composer, he makes a crucial contribution to his famous sister's albums: When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (2019), Happier Than Ever (2021), and Hit Me Hard And Soft (2024). His involvement has earned him no fewer than ten Grammy Awards. Finneas Baird O'Connell, as he was born on July 30, 197, also collaborates with greats such as Drake, Kid Cudi, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato, Halsey, Justin Bieber, Karol G, Girl in Red, Rosalía, Tove Lo, Ringo Starr, and Tate McRae. The American also contributes to soundtracks such as The Fallout (2021) and Vengeance (2022). He also acts in series such as Modern Family, Aquarius, and Glee.
Besides his extensive work for others, Finneas O'Connell—who often uses just Finneas as his stage name—also has his own projects. He is a member of the rock band The Slightys. In 2019, he released the solo EP Blood Harmony, followed in 2021 by his first album, Optimist (2021). With this release, Finneas proves his musical independence as a singer, musician, composer, and producer. His style—accessible pop with alternative accents—has also managed to reach a wide audience, as he did with the EPs The Fallout (2021) and Vengeance (2022). They serve as a prelude to his second album, For Cryin' Out Loud! (2024), which he describes as a mature work, where he realizes all his ambitions as a lyricist, musician, and producer.
