Description
After moving from Detroit to New York in 1957, trombonist Curtis Fuller appeared as a sideman on John Coltrane’s Blue Train and cut his first three leader dates including Volume 3, a swinging album featuring trumpeter Art Farmer, pianist Sonny Clark, bassist George Tucker, and drummer Louis Hayes.
This stereo Tone Poet Vinyl Edition was produced by Joe Harley, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analog master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI, and packaged in a deluxe tip-on gatefold jacket.
