Released in 1988, Toto's The Seventh One (referring to the seventh album of this immensely popular Soft Rock band) featured some very recognizable songs that have become evergreen radio classics.
First of all, the album kicks off with "Pamela", a girl song that matches their previous success of IV's hit single "Rosanna". And where would the world be without the eighties anthem "Stop Loving You"?
Also the other songs on this superb album are gold in their own right. Listen to a song like "Stay Away" and imagine yourself being thrown back to the late eighties, sporting a striped T-shirt, denim jacket and Air Jordans while on your way to Back To The Future part II.
Toto bears an instantaneously recognizable stamp of the '80s, but because of the high quality songwriting, their music is absolutely timeless and here to stay.
