Chamaco Ramírez’s only solo album, Alive And Kicking, returns to vinyl for the first time since its 1979 Inca Records release. A salsa essential showcasing his electrifying voice, it features standout tracks like “Así son bongo” by Joseito Fernández, “San Agustín” by Tite Curet Alonso, and Chamaco’s own “Adivínalo.” Pressed on 180-gram vinyl with AAA lacquers from the original master tapes, this reissue captures the full power and brilliance Chamaco and the stellar lineup of musicians.
