Part 1 of The Cardigans' compilation "The Rest Of The Best." This compilation features some of the band's recordings released between 1994 and 2006 as B-sides on singles, soundtracks, and bonus tracks on Japanese, French, and British versions of their albums. "The Rest Of The Best" was compiled by The Cardigans themselves, and the artwork is based on photos taken by photographer Martin Bogren, who worked with the band from the beginning. The Cardigans about "The Rest Of The Best": "We are delighted to release these compilations. Songs that for various reasons were left out of our studio albums. Now our audience can listen through all the B-sides in chronological order, and it's a pure joy to reminisce all the way back to 1993. It's almost like a forgotten record, or rather four.
