Description
Silver's ode to his father is perhaps the highlight of his long marriage to Blue Note Records. Inspired by a trip to Brazil and the Cape Verdean dance parties of his youth, the album is packed with bossa nova beats, exotic influences, and swinging hard bop. The 1965 album still sounds clear and refreshing today. This reissue is on 180-gram vinyl.
