Quarter Life Crisis (LP)

Milo Meskens will release his second studio album on April 7: Quarter Life Crisis.

This album comes 5 years after his debut album 'Contrast', 8 years after he became a laureate of De Nieuwe Lichting of Studio Brussel and with more than 20 years of guitar experience under his belt.

Milo is now 27 and has experienced what he calls a Quarter Life Crisis in recent years. He's had some pure rock 'n' roll years with numerous shows both in Belgium and abroad, countless promotional opportunities, and several undeniable hit singles like "Here With Me," "New Beginning," "Fool," and "When I Feel This Way." His career to date boasts an impressive 27 million streams and four gold singles.

With his first salary, he bought his own house and built his personal music studio there. Last year, he reached a musical high point with a stint on the main stage of Pukkelpop, where he captivated the audience with both his virtuoso guitar playing and his masterful pop songs.

He also sought solace in skating, bought a moped, had a tattoo sleeve put on his arm, grew a moustache, experienced many amorous highs and lows and finally left Belgium last year to recharge for a few months with friends in London.

There he laid the foundation for this new album. Drawing from his personal life, Milo wrote a series of new songs. Besides being a songwriter, Milo also provides vocals, composes, plays guitar, and is an all-around musician. He collaborated with TheColorGrey drummer James Williams, bassist Victor Defoort (Roméo Elvis), and renowned producers Jo Francken and Pieterjan Maertens (Tamino, Zaz, Milow, Het Zesde Metaal, etc.). Mastering took place in New York with Dave Kutch, mastering engineer for Alicia Keys, The Weekend, Dua Lipa, and many other stars.

In short, an impressive roster of talent gathered to collaborate on the 15 tracks that make up this new album. And Milo is ready to share these songs with the world!
