Description
Deep Purple's legendary Mk II lineup (Gillan, Glover, Blackmore, Lord, Paice) explodes on "Copenhagen 1972", a live recording capturing them just before releasing rock classics like "Machine Head" and "Fireball". This electrifying concert showcases raw, unchoreographed brilliance, featuring future anthems like "Highway Star" and "Lazy" from the then-unreleased "Machine Head". Witness Gillan's soaring vocals clash with Blackmore's scorching guitar, while Lord's keyboards weave magic. Don't miss Paice's thunderous drums and Glover's bass grooves anchoring the captivating chaos. Experience a time capsule of 1972, when rock pushed boundaries, and anything felt possible. As bonus this edition includes tracks from a 1973 performance in New York and a documentary, which make this a must-have for true Purple fans, offering a glimpse into the band's creative peak and the revolutionary musical landscape they shaped.
