Description
Grammy Award winner Yannick Nézet-Séguin presents a new Beethoven cycle with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. "It's fascinating how Beethoven's music can still surprise us today. We hope our interpretation will feel like the audience is hearing it for the first time," says Yannick Nézet-Séguin. The conductor and the COE previously collaborated on the recording of the complete Schumann and Mendelssohn cycles. This album will also be the COE's first complete Beethoven cycle since the historic recording with Nikolaus Harnoncourt in the 1990s.
