The compilation album "De Beste Van Klein Orkest," originally released on CD in 1987, is now released for the first time on a double LP. The album contains 16 tracks, including the aforementioned hits as well as the singles "Over 100 Jaar," "Ellie," "Later Is Al Lang Begonnen," and "Alles Over Jou" (All About You). It is pressed on yellow and blue vinyl.
In the early 1980s, the Hague-based band Klein Orkest scored several Top 40 hits with singles like "Koos Werkeloos" (Koos Workless), "Laat Mij Maar Alleen" (Let Me Alone), and of course, "Over De Muur" (Over the Wall). After three albums, the band members each went their own way. Singer Harrie Jekkers subsequently became one of the Netherlands' most successful comedians for many years.
