Sheku Kanneh-Mason | Elgar 1CD
At twenty years old, Sheku Kanneh-Mason is a remarkable cellist. His playing is passionate and highly emotional without straying into sentimentality, and the drive he achieves with Rattle and the London Symphony Orchestra is infectious, to say the least. He has made a very significant recording of his performance of Elgar's Cello Concerto .
