A beautiful selection of beloved arias, many recorded for the first time by a male soprano. For this album, Samuel Mariño himself arranged the traditional "Last Rose of Summer" and the well-known Baïlero from Chants d'Auvergne by Joseph Canteloube. Recorded with the Covent Garden Sinfonia, conducted by Ben Palmer and pianist Jonathan Ware.
