"VOCES8 is the Rolls-Royce of British a cappella ensembles"—this is just one of many glowing press quotes about the British vocal ensemble, which was even nominated for a Grammy Award in 2023. Their new album features a collection of music inspired by the night, including both choral classics and brand-new arrangements of popular works by artists like Ludovico Einaudi (Experience) and Max Richter (On the Nature of Daylight). The album opens and closes with a contemplative psalm setting by Jaeil Jung, the South Korean composer of Squid Game and Parasite.
