This brand-new live album by Joe Hisaishi features "The End of the World," composed by Hisaishi himself, and "The Desert Music," composed by Steve Reich. The album was recorded at Suntory Hall, Tokyo, in 2024. Joe Hisaishi launched the "Joe Hisaishi Future Orchestra Classics" concert series to present classical works he loves from a conductor's perspective. For this purpose, he formed a new orchestra, "Future Orchestra Classics." The positive response he received to the first installment of the series, featuring a new interpretation of Beethoven's Symphonies Nos. 5 and 7, prompted him to continue the series. This album marks the seventh installment of the series.
