"This is how I want to make music!" said Avi Avital when he first heard Il Giardino Armonico. On this album, he performs three original mandolin concertos with them, as well as his own arrangements of concertos by Bach and Vivaldi. Thanks to the latest technology, he plays all four parts of the arrangement of the concerto for four violins by the latter composer himself. Avital used four different mandolins and two mandolas for this, giving each voice a different color and character.
