FLETCHER
Born on March 19, 1994, as Cari Elise Fletcher, it became clear early on that her future lay in music. And that's not just because of her birthplace: New Jersey, which also brought us Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi. At five, she began singing lessons. Like many other young talents, she later entered various talent shows. For example, in 2011, she shone on the wildly popular X Factor. Subsequently, she joined the band Lakoda Rayne, but ultimately continued her career under her own name.
Fletcher moved to Nashville to further develop her skills as a singer, songwriter, and performer. In January 2019, she broke through with the single "Undrunk." A year later, she addressed the end of a relationship on the EP "The S(ex) Tapes." The COVID-19 epidemic briefly halted her breakthrough, forcing her to cancel a tour. In 2022, her first album, "Girl Of My Dreams," was finally released. Fletcher delivered powerfully sung songs that balance between pop and light alternative rock. The lyrics are candid and reflect the young woman's life. It reached number 15 on the US album charts. Her debut album also charted internationally.
In interviews surrounding the album's release, Fletcher says her biggest influences include Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Patti Smith, and Troye Sivan. Her critically acclaimed second album, "In Search of the Antidote," proves she's developed a distinctive sound. It rocketed her into the US album Top 10. The album's theme is that love is the ultimate medicine. She's received numerous compliments for her once again personal lyrics and diverse songs. And it seems to be just the beginning for the American singer.
