Cian Ducrot
Cian Ducrot is an Irish singer and songwriter who owes his beautiful French surname to his mother's roots. Sabine Ducrot is a renowned teacher and musician in classical music, and for a while, it seemed her son would follow in her footsteps. Cian Ducrot studied classical flute for a while at the Royal Academy of Music in London, a prestigious conservatory. After a visit to the music capital of Los Angeles, he decided to change his life. He wanted to become a pop star. In the years that followed, he released songs and mixtapes while performing with varying degrees of success in London's clubs and pubs. He became known with the EP "Make Believe," followed a year later by the beautiful piano ballad "All For You." Cian Ducrot sings with great feeling about the pain that loss can cause. It became his first hit. His name was established. A year later, he tackled Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," which he managed to give his own unique twist. His debut album, "Victory," was released in 2023. It immediately shot to number one on the Irish and British album charts. That same year, it was also announced that he would be touring with Ed Sheeran. It's clear by now: Cian Ducrot won't be playing flautist in a classical orchestra anytime soon.
