Jef Neve is among the top Belgian musicians. He has showcased his talent on a variety of instrumental albums, from soundtracks and symphonies to several solo piano albums.
With "That Old Feeling," Jef ventures into the vocal jazz genre. Surrounded by a host of guest vocalists, he releases his debut album where music and lyrics complement each other.
From jazz standards to lesser-known pop gems, they've all been reworked. For this album, Jef collaborated with diverse singers from various continents, including internationally renowned jazz singers (Madeleine Peyroux, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Monique Harcum), hit phenomenons (Sam Sparro), Dutch rappers (Typhoon), and emerging talents (Sam Merick, Johnny Manuel, etc.).
Jef has succeeded in forging this album into a cohesive whole and will surprise friend and foe with innovative arrangements and widely accessible songs... This album far transcends the jazz genre and will touch a wide audience.
From May onwards, Jef Neve will tour with this album and several guest singers, after which the company will go abroad.
