Ronnie Tober celebrates his 80th birthday with the compilation album 'My Coloring Book'.
Ronnie Tober debuted in 1965 with his single "Iedere Avond" (Every Evening). That year, he scored three Top 40 hits with this single and its follow-ups, "Geweldig" (Great) and "Verboden Vruchten" (Forbidden Fruits).
In total, Ronnie Tober achieved 9 Top 40 hits plus another 7 Tipparade listings and was a welcome guest on many radio and TV programs for many years.
Since his debut in 1965, he has released 18 albums and almost 100 singles, including several duets with Ciska Peters and Anneke Grönloh.
The still-active singer will celebrate his 80th birthday on April 21st of this year, and this will be commemorated with the release of the 3-CD set "Mijn Kleurboek" (My Colouring Book), which will be released on April 11th. This compilation includes all the hit singles plus many highlights from Ronnie's entire career. The singer also recorded a new song especially for this album, titled "If You Love Me (Really Love Me)."
