In the turmoil of 2020, saxophonist Charles Lloyd began developing a new musical project, a studio recording with a new band; a quartet that brings together four distinctive jazz voices for the first time. The legendary saxophonist is joined on this album by pianist Jason Moran, bassist Larry Grenadier, and drummer Brian Blade. The double album, "The Sky Will Still Be There Tomorrow," presents a majestic oeuvre from one of the most important musicians of the 20th and 21st centuries. The album presents a collection of Lloyd originals: new, old, and reimagined.
