Each song is reimagined by Peter and arranger John Metcalfe: no guitars, no drums, just orchestra. "Taking The Pulse" is directed by Anna Gabriel. Fifty musicians, led by Ben Foster, perform reworked Peter Gabriel classics on this Blu-ray in the beautiful open-air setting of the Arena di Verona on September 26, 2010, in Verona, Italy. The setting is fantastic, with the projections on the large screens and the darkness of the night. This atmosphere gives the songs an extra dimension and, together with the orchestra, a new experience.
