The Kinks – Low Budget (2026 Remastered CD)
Originally released in 1979, Low Budget marked a turning point in The Kinks' late career, embracing a harder, arena-ready rock sound that helped make it one of the band's most successful albums in the United States. Widely regarded as one of their defining releases of the late 1970s, the album blends sharp social commentary with infectious hooks and powerful guitar-driven performances.
This 2026 remastered CD edition has been newly mastered from the original source tapes, delivering enhanced clarity, balance, and dynamic range while preserving the character of the original mix. Featuring classic tracks including "(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman," "Catch Me Now I'm Falling," and the title track "Low Budget," the remaster offers a more detailed and focused listening experience.
