Icelandic pianist Víkingur Ólafsson is one of the most listened-to classical artists of our time.

Following his recording of the Goldberg Variations, which earned Ólafsson a GRAMMY Award®, the title of Instrumentalist of the Year from Musical America, the OPUS KLASSIK Bestseller Prize and the German

Record Critics' Annual Prize, the pianist now presents his new album Opus 109. 
At its heart is Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 30 in E major, Op. 109 – a masterpiece from the composer's late creative period, which Víkingur Ólafsson places in a musically captivating dialogue with compositions by J.S. Bach and Schubert, tracing the lines of development that converge in this milestone of piano literature.
