‘Orchestras’ van gitarist Bill Frisell documenteert twee geïnspireerde optredens in de concertzaal: één met het bijna 60-koppige Brussels Philharmonic, onder leiding van Alexander Hanson; en één met het 11-koppige Umbria Jazz Orchestra, onder leiding van Manuele Morbidini. Meeslepende orkestraties die doen denken aan historische filmmuziek, waarin de glinsterende kenmerkende toon van Frisell prachtig versmelt met symfonische strijkers en koperblazers.
