'Today' is Mississippi John Hurt's derde album, oorspronkelijk uitgebracht in 1966. Het album bevat een selectie van de eerste commerciële opnamen sinds zijn comeback na een sabbatical van 35 jaar. Rolling Stone over het album: “the rare Delta blues legend who bowls you over with grace, generosity, and warmth.” . 'Today' is onderdeel van de 'Bluesville Records and Acoustic Sounds reissue series'. Deze uitgave is geperst op 180 grams vinyl met alle analoge mastering van de originele tapes, komt samen met een Obi Strip met sleeve notes en is verpakt in een tip-on jacket style hoes.
