To mark the 50th anniversary of the composer's death, Andris Nelsons and the BSO are adding this special recording of his Piano Concertos to their award-winning Shostakovich cycle. Pianist Yuja Wang brings her characteristically dynamic and expressive touch to both concertos. The album also includes six solo piano pieces from Shostakovich's 24 Preludes and Fugues, Op. 87 & Op. 34.
