Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho has chosen to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Maurice Ravel's birth by, among other things, recording his complete solo piano music. Cho has always felt a close connection to French piano literature, which only strengthened during his studies at the Paris Conservatoire. "I have always been fascinated by the ideas, colors, and emotions found in Ravel's music, and it was an honor to record his complete solo piano works," says the pianist.
